Throughout the renovation we have kept a modern yet traditional feel to the building, there is an open log fire which you will find burning throughout the cold winter months and many old pictures of local people hanging throughout the building.
The Portcullis is a very lively bar Thursday to Sunday with Karaoke, disco and bands on these days. Thursday - Saturday we are open until 2.30am and until mid-night on a Sunday evening. Please note our VERY BUSY bar is open until 2.30 am Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Noise from the bar and disco will be heard in rooms untill that time.
We are also a stone’s throw away from historical villages of Old Sodbury and Little Sodbury which both offer plenty to see. We are also within easy access to the world class 3 day Badminton horse trials held every spring, Castle Coombe race track and Westonbirt Arboretum. There is easy access to both the M4 and M5 motorways and we are only 12 miles from the city centres of Bristol and Bath.
